Our take
I picked up the Callaway 2025 X Forged single 9 iron to fill a gap in my set. The Project X Satin Rifle shaft in stiff flex feels solid and provides a low, penetrating ball flight. The forged head gives excellent feedback on contact, which I appreciate for shaping shots. However, I must note it's a used club with a condition rating of 7.5, so expect some wear. The Golf Pride MCC Plus 4 grip is a nice touch but it's standard size, so if you prefer midsize you'll need to regrip. Overall, a quality iron for the price if you're comfortable with used gear.
